Default Like to know how the... did he ...

please look at the distance between me dead and little thom in brawling.

1) I know little thom uses elementalist skill
2) no, he did not kill me using elelmetalist skill
3) Yes he use his sword, because I saw the animation where he goes "hyah, hyah" and swinging his sword twice or 3 times, then i am dead.
4) my health bar then was half or a little bit lower then what is shown on little thoms life bar in the picture

now the question is how the hell did he hyah hyah me to death over <<--there when I've already ran all the way over here -->>.

Rubberbanding? Might be your computer not showing you in the spot the client saying you are. Happens to me all the time during PvE.

Yeah, definitely a lag issue there. Happened to me before. Hell, one time I was being attacked by something that was invisible, and I was still able to target it and kill it. About 10 seconds after I killed it, its corpse appeared. Weird stuff happens when the client and server are not in sync.

You obviously did not read the quest. He never died.

It looks like ye olde displacement bug from all the way back in '05. Hasn't been fixed yet and it's a killer in PvP.

It's the only explanation. Always happens.

At any rate, I appreciate the trouble you went to in looking for him. You know, it pleases me to think he's still alive, running around out there, causing trouble still... Means I still have a chance to be the one to give him his comeuppance. Yeah, I'm going to enjoy that.
Farrah was simply wrong. That was sooooo Thom's body I violated.

The dead guy was way too thin to be Little Thom.

Yep, that was my immediate thought when I saw the corpse.

That's just how the game is. If you're close enough for someone to activate a melee skill then run/move/tele away you'll get hit no matter how many miles apart you are. Even worse, if you get hit while kiting it's an auto critical - tons of fun with a dervish vs casters with that double strike skill (100+ dmg on each hit -_-).

So seeing that you died facing away from Thom, forensic analysis concludes that the above is what happened in this case.

Also, apparently, Hamstorm is still overpowered.
